My work is an exploration of everyday objects that surround us all: chairs, windows, doors, boots, and lemons’ on a table; landscapes and still life’s. Working with oil and oil bars, adding texture with an emphasis on vibrant color and order, both compositionally and coloristically. Some objects are recognizable and some realistic, which explores the tension between fact and fiction; much like life. This is a glimpse into the observations of my life as a painter and my relationship with the world.
